We were very concerned when our beagle child got sick over the holiday weekend. Thankfully the team at SC Vet Specialists and Emergency Care were available for help. Our nurse Charles and Dr Dietrich showed so much compassion to us and Lucky during our visit in addition to providing excellent care. So glad they are here when we need them!

We have used multiple vets during the last 17 years of pet ownership and by far South Carolina veterinarian specialty hospital is the best hands-down. Not only do they provide excellent care and are very informative, they are so compassionate about the animals. We are so fortunate to have been referred here and continue to refer others here as well.

Dr Ross and her staff cured my Therapy Dog Bowie of Oral cancer. A new experimental vaccine was used. No Radiation or surgery. Bowie tolerated the series of 4 injections very well.He will require a maintenance dosage on a six months basis. As you can see Bowie was very happy to hear the news,

Worst experience ever. Our dog got into the trash and ate something she wasn’t supposed to (we didn’t know what). They kept her for 24 hours, NEVER contacted us until I drove up there after not being able to get in touch with them. They told me her issues were high priority and a very serious emergency. They said she needed X-rays, a CT scan and possible surgery immediately. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. They took X-rays, said they weren’t normal and then never called me back. She sat in a crate for HOURS until I showed up and demanded her out of the crate. They lack knowledge and skill, bedside manner, and have 1 vet for 50 animals. HORRIFIC place. Don’t ever bring your animals here unless you want them to sit and rot in a crate with no supervision, I heard my dog barking which means she was alone with a damaged trachea. I have never been more disturbed. Jessica Withycombe took nearly 10 hours to tell me that they could not perform any of the treatments necessary (CT, endoscopy or surgery if needed). They could’ve told me this at 8:00 AM that day, but instead after I demanded a vet come speak to me, they finally told me at 4 PM none of this was available and I needed to go to CVETS. I will never trust her with my pet again.

This is Luna, Luna had a GI issue and it was the weekend, we thought we were doing the right thing. We gave her medical history to this hospital, including when we almost lost her to an oral flea medicine. Jessica Withycombe Gave Luna a lethal dose of capstar. We are going to do videos about this with audio recordings and paperwork that prove what I’m saying. I have been on the phone all day to other people who have either lost their pets or were charged crazy amounts and this hospital made their pets sicker. I have called major news outlets and they are very interested in our story. I will not stop until Jessica Withycombe loses her license so this doesn’t happen again at her hands and until this emergency room is brought to justice. Go to my darcysuzanne18 Facebook for the full story after 7 pm tonight

Our Mini Schnauzer, Noah woke up with one runny eye closed shut. Don't know what happened. Spent 5 hours waiting to be seen at CVETS before walking out. Called and drove to SC Veterinary Specialists. They saw him within 5 minutes of my arrival. He has an ulceration on his eye that should heal in a week or so! Thank you SC Veterinary Specialists, especially thankful for Danielle and Dr. Barrett!

Dr. DeLorenzo and her team are AMAZING!!! When my pup was bitten on the face by a rattlesnake, we rushed him to their office and they immediately assessed him and went into action to save him. He had to stay with them overnight, but I received a status update phone call every three hours throughout the entire night. Not only did they save my sweet pup's life, but every single person in their office was SO kind, caring, patient, professional, and attentive to our needs. My pup has made a full recovery now. Thank you all so much!!!!
